How to get to Revelstoke in Summer
During the summer months driving in BC is much less of a problem than during the winter months. Flying into Calgary and enjoying the famous drive through the Canadian Rockies and Banff National Park definitely adds to your experience.
If you fly into Calgary, either from other parts of North America, or from Europe via London or Frankfurt, then you have two options to get from Calgary to Revelstoke.
- Take a taxi from the Calgary airport to the Greyhound Station in downtown Calgary and board a bus to Revelstoke.
- If you want to enjoy the drive through the spectacular Banff National Park and the Canadian Rockies, then you might want to rent a car. This will give you much more flexibility than the Greyhound bus. Also, if you are a group of 3 or more people then renting a car might be less expensive than the return ticked of the Greyhound bus.
