Steep Skiing Camps

The name of this program says it all. During this special program we explore and adventure steep runs in the high alpine. The guide will show you the required technique and how an extreme run of such incline has to be approached. We will start out the week with easier and less committing runs. As every skier in the group feels more comfortable with the exposure and the steep incline, we start to increase the size of the slopes and also the level of difficulties. This rewarding but challenging Steep Skiing Camp is a true combination of adventure, commitment, courage and personal achievement.

For this program we don't have set dates. We take a maximum of three guests per week. Once we have interested guests then we negotiate with them a suitable date.

You will be skiing very exposed alpine routes of up to 45 degrees incline. There might be routes that have to be climbed from the below, up the face or a couloir. The steepness and exposure of each route will depend on general conditions and the weather.

You have to be an excellent skier, feel comfortable while skiing extremely exposed runs with an incline of up to 45 degrees. Further you have to be physically in excellent shape.

It is possible to take a day off from skiing and enjoy the ambience of the chalet with its comfortable living space and unparalleled view of the surrounding peaks.
