Equipment list

In addition to the recommended equipment found under the Skiing Packing List, you are required to bring the following:

• 5 mm rope 15 ft long or Rutschblock Cord
• snow crystal screen for avalanche work
• magnifying glass for avalanche work
• 2 thermometers
• "write in the rain" field book and pencil
• folding meter (2 meters with cm scale)
• compass, altimeter and GPS
• Notebook and pen
